## Our Forestry Mulching Process and Equipment

Our process uses an efficient mulching head mounted on a compact track loader to shred wood, underbrush and small to medium-sized trees, typically 5-7 inches in diameter. We work in controlled passes around marked trees, then reprocess thicker material into ground cover. Tree species, density and site conditions determine how we approach each stem.

## Privet, Greenbrier and Young Pine Growth

Privet thickets, tangled greenbrier and young pine or sweetgum can close in an otherwise usable lot. We assess stem size, wood density and access before mulching. Native wax myrtle and yaupon can stay where they fit your plan. Surviving roots can send up new growth, so follow-up maintenance may be needed.

Prices: $1,500–$4,500. General project pricing; tree removal is per suitable individual tree. Acreage, vegetation, slope and equipment access affect your quote. Larger or difficult jobs can exceed these ranges. Stump work, hauling, permits and construction-pad preparation are quoted separately.

We brought in our compact track loader with a forestry mulching head, mulched the thick growth and kept the marked trees the owner wanted to save. We left the material on the ground as mulch so the owner could walk and maintain the area more easily. The owner was pleased with the work we did.
